- The US closed positive on Friday although our market is about 100 points down this morning. The US has been outperforming us for the last couple of weeks, but with European markets also trading higher we can expect a bit of a tick up later in the day. The rand and gold has weakened against a stronger dollar and some technical analysts are calling a support level for the rand around 7.20.
